Should writing come naturally?

Whenever I write a blog post or attempt to work on my novel it becomes a difficult endeavor. I literally just sit in front of the computer; watching the blinking cursor while waiting for my mind to conjure up the right words to transcribe onto the screen. I get so envious whenever I see a writer being portrayed on TV or movie typing away; as if they are experiencing a creative surge and their fingers can't seem to keep up with their thoughts. The question is: Should writing for aspiring writers be that easy as depicted on movies/TV/other books/etc.? What about all you writers out there. Does it come that natural for you or is it a skill that needs to be acquired?
