Employer knowingly hiring for position to be terminated?

I was recently hired by a company and one week later me, as well as the rest of the department I worked with was laid off due to our jobs being outsourced. I was wondering if I can seek legal action against the company for hiring me knowing that they were going to terminate my job one week later?
